Privacy Policy

We keep this short and plain. besteye-tech.com is a static marketing site. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not follow you across the web, and we never sell your data. This page explains exactly what happens to the information you send us — including the small amount that is added automatically to your inquiry.

1. Information you give us

Our contact form asks for your name, company, email address, country, the product you are interested in, a quantity, and your message. Name, company, email and message are required; the rest is optional.

When you submit, your inquiry reaches us at info@besteyehk.com by one of two routes, depending on which button you use:

• Direct send — the message is sent straight from your browser through our form relay service (see §4). This works on any device and needs no email software.
• Your own email app — we hand the finished message to your mail program, and it is sent from your own mailbox.

Nothing is stored in a database on this website. It is a static site with no server-side storage, no accounts and no login. Your inquiry exists only as an email in our inbox.

2. Information added to your inquiry automatically

So that we can reply usefully — and filter out automated junk — a small amount of technical information is attached to the message you send. It is only sent as part of an inquiry you choose to submit:

• Your IP address
• An approximate location derived from it (country, and region or city) plus the name of the network / ISP
• The page on our site you came from before you opened the contact form
• How you reached us — a search engine, a social network, or a direct link — if your browser reports it
• Your browser language, time zone and local time
• The date and time of your submission

To be able to show us the page you came from, our site saves the last page you visited in your browser's local storage. That value stays on your own device and is cleared when you close the browser tab.

3. Why we collect it, and our legal basis

• Answering you well. Knowing your country, time zone and local time lets us reply during your working hours and send the right plug, voltage and certification information for your market.
• Blocking spam. Automated bulk submissions usually come from data-centre networks and do not match the country or language they claim. IP and network information is the main signal we use to tell a real buyer from a bot.

Our legal basis for processing the details you type is that it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a possible contract with you, together with our legitimate interest in corresponding with prospective customers. Our legal basis for the technical information in §2 is our legitimate interest in keeping our enquiry channel secure and usable, and in communicating efficiently with you. None of it is used for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making.

If you would rather none of this technical information is collected, simply email us directly at info@besteyehk.com instead of using the form. You can also object to this processing at any time — see §8.

4. Service providers who help us

We do not sell or rent your information. A small number of service providers process it on our behalf, only for the purposes below:

• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) — relays the message when you use the direct-send button, and forwards it to our mailbox. Their own privacy notice is at formsubmit.co/privacy.
• ipwho.is — converts an IP address into an approximate country, city and network name. Your browser contacts this service when the contact page is opened, and your IP address is what it receives. Their privacy notice is at ipwho.is/privacy.
• Our hosting provider — serves this website and keeps standard server logs (§6).

Some of these providers are located outside your own country, so your information may be transferred internationally. We choose providers with reasonable privacy practices and limit what we send them to what the purpose above requires.

5. What we do not do

• No advertising cookies, no retargeting, no cross-site tracking
• No social media tracking pixels
• No selling, renting or sharing of your data for anyone else's marketing
• No account registration, no login, no password to manage
• No automated decisions about you, no profiling

6. Cookies and local storage

This site needs no cookies to work. It stores two small items in your browser: your answer to the cookie banner, and the last page you visited (used only for the "page you came from" field described in §2). Both stay on your device.

Analytics cookies, if enabled, load only after you click "Accept all" in the cookie banner. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics script is loaded at all. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

7. Server logs

Like every website, our hosting server records basic request logs (your IP address, the requested URL, the response code and the time) for operational and security purposes. These are not used for marketing or profiling.

8. How long we keep it, and your rights

Inquiries are kept as ordinary business correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and maintain normal commercial records, and no longer than 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Technical information described in §2 is kept with the message it arrived with and is deleted with it.

You may ask us at any time to:

• tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
• correct anything inaccurate
• delete your correspondence with us
• restrict or object to our processing — including the technical information in §2
• withdraw any consent you have given

Just write to info@besteyehk.com — reply to the same address you already have, if you prefer — and we will action your request within a reasonable timeframe, normally within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Changes

If we change anything material, we will update this page and the date below.
